چکیده

Piceatannol is a naturally occurring polyphenolic stilbene found in various fruits and vegetables. It has been reported to possess pharmaceutical properties health benefit effects such as anticancer, antidiabetes, antioxidant, anti-inflammation, anti-obesity activities. Recently, Rhodomyrtus tomentosa have determined contain large amout of piceatannol. In this study, piceatannol was extracted isolated from R. collected Phu Quoc district. Moreover, the anti-allergic activity investigated using RBL-2H3 cells an vitro experimental model. Firstly, ethyl acetate extract fruit powder via column chromatography high performance liquid eluted by several types binary solvent systems with different polarity. Subsequently, characterization compound identified mass spectrometer nuclear magnetic resonance methods. The degranulation mast cellls examined measuring release β-hexsosaminidase culture supernatant. observation cell morphology conducted under inverted microscope treated 40 µM addition, cytotoxic effect at concentration treatment also tested MTT ((3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) assay. As result, significantly inhibited reducing 44% µM. exhibited protective against calcium ionophore-induced morphological change cells. Notably, no significant up observed on Therefore, could be suggested potential agent for future therapeutics.

Piceatannol, a potent bioactive stilbene, as major phenolic component in Rhodomyrtus tomentosa.

The sim fruit (Rhodomyrtus tomentosa) has long been used in folk medicine to treat diarrhoea, dysentery, and to boost the immune system. The purpose of this work was to determine its phenolic profile and to evaluate the changes of content during maturation, as well as the variations induced by environmental conditions. Using HPLC-ESI-HR-MS, 19 phenolic compounds (PCs) were tentatively character...
